The Little Village - Homestay & Restaurant

This is the best place we stayed in during our trip to Vietnam. The manager is an awesome dude, he arranged everything for us. Bikes, transport to our night bus. Such a sweet guy. At the hotel the food is super good and not expensive like in many hotels. My only regret is that we did not book a longer stay.

Hoan and all the people working in the hotel are just AMAZING. From our check in to our check out they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect: they hired a scooter for us, they let us check out late without charging us for it and they even gave us a ride to the train station. The room is spotless and the surroundings are downright awesome. I wish I could stay there forever.

We only stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed a bit longer. The manager was always super friendly and helpful, speaking English quite well. Dinner was good and diverse, and liked by both the locals and the foreigners of my travel group. For breakfast, you could order the tasty options the night before.nThe rooms were clean and well equipped, with comfortable mattresses. Only the glassdoor to the bathroom might be a bit awkward if you're not travelling as a couple. The hotel is located in a (currently calm!) new construction area about 1,5 km from the next touristic center Tam Coc, which takes about 20 minutes by food, 10 by bike or 5 by scooter to reach. There you can find a big variety of restaurants, shops, and bars.nAs the attractions of ninh binh are widely dispersed, renting a scooter is recommendable. The hotel took charge of everything, and the scooters were delivered right to the front door.nWe'd love to return one day!
