Tam Coc Thai Duong Homestay

We came for one night and stayed for three. Our room and the conduct of the family running this place were both impeccable. The location is off the main drag but still central and a few minutes easy walk from the market, restaurants and stores. Some experiences while travelling leave you feeling as jaded and tired as some locals seem to be of tourists. This was not our experience staying here. Very lovely and warm proprietors.

I stayed at the this homestay with two friends on a Vietnam backpacking trip and it was by far the best accommodation experience we’ve had. We couldn’t find the location at first but the hosts came and picked us up on their motorbikes and brought us back to their home stay. The location is ideal for Tam Coc, we are just an easily lost group. The entire property was very well kept. The room was nice, clean and stocked with thoughtful supplies like toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, razors, combs and a hairdryer. The host speaks fluent English and helped us with everything we needed. We rented motor bikes from him, he showed us where to go and how much it would cost. He even bought our bus tickets to our next destination. The rest of the family was incredibly hospital and loving. The older woman, “Mama”, did our laundry and gave us endless compliments. Another younger woman brought us free ginger tea and limeade.nThe free breakfast was delicious and made to order. The whole experience warmed my heart but I’ll always remember that they told us because we stayed with their family, we are family now. I can’t recommend this homestay enough. Please support this loving and hard working family. We hope to be back soon! 10/5 stars.

Very friendly owner, offering bike rental and laundry services for a fair price. After checkout, he offered us to keep the luggages in the room and take shower before our evening overnight train. Does not speak English very well but we always managed to agree on what we needed. Can only recommend!:)

Great room, very clean, hot water, AC. The staff were very kind and even though some couldn't speak English they used Google Translate and gave us useful information! You can rent bycicles and bikes from them. Yuumi banana pancake for breakfast
