Febuary-2019. I go to tsl hanoi to give paperwork and then they check it lack fee paper. I ask them can I go out to photo just about 15 minutes, they said no, and suggested about use VIP package or appointment next time. Im from Danang so no choice I have to use VIP. They were know to make money from me !

TLS charged more than 600,000 VND for their service but they tried to make money almost every single step throughout the process. First we were told that our passport photos were non-compliant and we were invited to use the instant photo service for 130,000 VND each. The instant photo is of much lower quality than the ones that we brought with us and I cant see why it is more compliant. Then, the receptionist offered us Premium Lounge service for more than 1,000,000 each so that we dont have to wait for the queue. We declined and much to our surprise found out that no one except the two of us were inside the centre. We were then offered to buy travel insurance from TLS insurance partner PVI, at a price that is three time higher than the same policy offered on PVI website. While I can understand TLS is offering a service and we can always decline (as I did) but the way they do it is bordering a scam.
