Unreal travel company!!!nnNo words are enough to tell how wonderful this company is. We were recommended to this company by a friend whose family traveled with the Red Crane in 2015. All I can say the trip was fantastic! This company is the best travel agent I have ever travelled with. All was organized over the internet, by the company owner Matthew. 21 days of total bliss. Not once did we have any problems, All travel plans, times, dates, plane flights, trains, internal Vietnam flights, motels, food, entries to all tourist attractions, taken care of. Have you ever had a agent ring you whilst on your holiday to see how you are going and if you needed anything! Well red crane did. I love them, and will go with them again. I would really recommend if you are going to Vietnam from Australia to go directly to Red crane, they find the best prices for you. You can pick the quality of the accommodation you want, and Matthew will tell you if he thinks the tours within Vietnam are worth doing etc. Able to reach him during our holiday was so reassuring!

We had a great tour of Vietnam (18 days from North to South) organised by Matthew from Red Crane Travel in October 2016. At first we were a little bit reluctant to book through local agents, but one of my friends traveled with them in August 2015 and highly recommended them to us. We were not disappointed! Matthew was extremely helpful, he phoned us almost everyday to make sure everything was going according to plan. All the hotels, guides, restaurants and places we visited were excellent. We highly recommend Red Crane Travel.

Hi Matthew,nnWe had a great time in Vietnam. The accommodation, tour guides, transport and itinerary were all excellent!nnI will definitely tell my friends about Red Crane Travel. I really enjoyed Sapa and Chan May was lovely.nnMaybe at some of the included lunches and dinners a Western style's meal could have been included (such as pizza), as Jessica didn't really like the Vietnamese food, although she did eat a lot of boiled rice.nnHalong Bay was marvelous and our cabin was very comfortable, thanks for the upgrade. All pickups, whether by car, train, boat or plane were all good.nnThe tour guides gave us a lot of information about the respective areas we visited and were willing to answer any questions we had about Vietnam and its people.nnThankyou for making our holiday in Vietnam most enjoyable and memorable. I would certainly book with Red Crane Travel again.nnRegardsnIsabella, Peter and Jessica Smith

Matthew organised a tailor-made programme according to our wishes - we are family with three children (7, 10, 13). Matthew's price was very competitive, and he was very good with regards to communication prior to the trip.nnHe was very friendly in person and on the first night, he came to meet us in our hotel - which was his initiative, as our programme with the agency was to start in a couple of days - and he gave us a lot of useful recommendations. It was really very nice of him.nnOur programme in all the places was very much as what Matthew promised, we did a lot of fun stuff, saw amazing places, ate great food, kids were well taken care of. The programme included, among other things, lantern-making, cooking school, silk farm tour, fishing, visit to a stilts village on Lake Ton Le Sap, as well as all the usual tourist attractions. But it goes without saying that you need to do your own research, because the starting point for every tour offer, we found, was pretty much the same and included the same agenda. So if you want more, read up on the country, and discuss your ideas with the agency.nnThe organisation of the trip was generally good: we were always met in the airport/railway station on time, the cars were clean, had air-con and free water. One note, not so much connected to Red Crane, is that flights time change often in Vietnam and you have to be prepared that your programme will have to be adjusted – most of the time, Matthew dealt with it very well.nnHe also kept in touch with us throughout all 2.5 weeks to make sure things were under control.nnMost of the time we arranged our own lunches/dinners; when they were part of the daily programme and arranged through the agency, the food was adequate but not amazing.nnOverall, we would definitely recommend Red Crane for organising your travel in Vietnam and Cambodia – a reliable and family-friendly agency.
