It's my last day in Vietnam & it's my birthday tomorrow so I was walking around looking for a spa or nail salon.nnI happened to walk by this place, but didn't look at the reviews beforehand. I walked in asking how much a pedicure with gel was & they said 250k. The most I've paid in other places before were 100k-150k. I don't know if it's because I'm a foreigner, but whatever.nnI figured screw it, I'll get it done here, because I was tired from walking & sweaty. I then asked how much a lash lift & tint was & the girl blurted out 350k. I looked up other places & CALA Nail Studio, around the corner, was charging 120k - & they take credit cards! This place didn't.nnThe owner wanted to argue on my Instagram story that I was given a price list beforehand - no, I wasn't. Everything was from the mouth of the girls, they never gave me a list to look at.

I had eyelash extensions done here! I often get them done back at home (Canada) and I was wary trying to find a spot in Vietnam. This place was close to my air bnb and walking by it a few times, it seemed like a very clean and legit spot!nnI cruised their instagram deciding I wanted the “babydoll”. The experience was great, the technician was gentle & she did a good job. Admittedly the glue stung more than I’m used to but it was minor. The lashes have since been very comfortable with no issues. They have better staying power than the ones I got at home in the past! I’m including a pic because I know others who are looking as much as I did will appreciate, excuse the sweaty hiking selfie though it’s the only one I caught. This pic was taken about 5 days after I got them, they’re looking still very full a week later. I’m happy with them!nnI paid 460,000 dong for the babydoll set. It’s hard to say if I paid for the “foreigner fee” or not, which tempts me for a 4 star. their Facebook says lashes are 200,000 up to 420,000... so I was surprised by the 460. I also got a 10K charge for the little lash wand which is usually given for free. Unsure if that is standard or not. Though, I can’t say for sure. The English was pretty limited so I opted to just pay & not go on the back & forth for pricing!

If you’re a foreigner, DO NOT COME HERE! They will up charge you if you aren’t Vietnamese. Their prices are expensive as is (200k) & if you don’t speak the language they will charge even more...
