In 1954, Father Joseph Do Duc Huan and about 300 Catholics of Dai Dien original Vinh Phuc Yen, Bac Ninh diocese migrated to the provincial road of Cat Lai, Long Thanh, and Sac forest, Bau Sen settled, career. A year later, Vinh Phuc Yen Parish was established under the care of Father Joseph Do Duc Huan. In the same year, Father Joseph and the community built a makeshift church with bricks and wood to serve as a place for offering and praying. Seven years later, in solidarity and trust in God, Father Joseph and the Vinh Phuc Yen community built a new church with brick walls, corrugated iron with dimensions of 12m x 40m. In 1975, Father Dam Do Do Duc Han succeeded Father Joseph of the Parish. Father Daminh continued to encourage and support the life of faith for the Vinh Phuc Yen community. In 1993, Vinh Phuc Yen Parish was renamed Dai Dien Parish. Through the time of the fathers of the parish, the community of Dai Dien Parish is gradually growing in faith and pastoral activities are increasingly in order. In 2004, Paul Nguyen Van Nhan was appointed to take care of the Parish. Five years later, Father Paul and Dai Dien community started construction of a church, a parish house and inaugurated on January 29, 2012.
