In 1973, Reverend Joseph Le Van An officially renamed Mo Tho Parish to Nghia Hiep. In 1993, Fr. Pham Anh Thai replaced Father Joseph in charge of the Parish. In addition to taking care of the faith life for the community, Father Joseph rebuilt the new parish house. Three years later, Father Peter Mai Van Sam was appointed to be Nghia Hiep parish priest. Father Peter and his community built a great doctrine to meet the Parish's pastoral needs. During the past years, in addition to the renovation of the church and the surrounding buildings, Nghia Hiep community is growing in faith and love, the activities in the Parish also gradually go into order. .
