In 1936, Fr. Vaquier led some 30 Catholic families to Kushan, Long Khanh as Binh Loc Rubber Plantation workers (SIPH). In the same year, Fr Vaquier and the community built a small chapel as a place of worship and prayer. In 1942, Bishop Jean Cassaigne established the parish of Binh Loc in Bien Hoa district in the Diocese of Saigon and appointed Father Baotixita Tran Van Huong as the parish priest as the first parish priest. In the same year, Father John Baotixita and the community of Binh Loc built a church (8m x 25m) with light materials. Throughout the years of the pastoral care of the parish, the community of Binh Loc gradually stabilized, and religious activities and facilities were improved. In 2008, Father Joseph Nguyen Van Cuong was in charge of Binh Loc parish. Joseph and the community built catechists (2009) and the parish (2011). Two years later, Father Joseph and the community began to build new churches.
