In 1977, a number of Catholic families in Tam Hiep - Ho Nai came to reclaim the village, forming Suoi Quyt Church under the care of Father Joseph Tran Minh Phu, the administrator of Long Thanh district at that time. After that, the number of Catholics increased rapidly due to the influx of people from the North to the South. In 1982, the community here built a wooden wall chapel, corrugated iron roof for worshiping and offering places. At this time, Suoi Quyt Family Church was managed by Father Emmanuel Nguyen Hong Son, Chief of Binh Son parish. Five years later, Rev. Nguyen Van Lang raised the Suoi Quyt Church to the parish and sent Father John Baptist Nguyen Dang Tue to be the first parish priest. In 1988, because of the urgent pastoral needs, Father John Baptist and the community re-made the road from Suoi Quyt crossroads to the church to facilitate the parishioners to go to church, go to school and emergency cases. In the same year, Father John Baotixita built a new parish house and teachings. In 1991, Reverend Paul Maria Nguyen Minh Nhat changed the name of Suoi Quyt Parish to Thanh Tin Parish. In the past, the parish priest, Thanh Tin parish community started and inaugurated the hall (under Father Paul Nguyen Duc Thanh), church, tomb, parish house (under Father Joseph Nguyen Dinh Nhiem). - 2006). In 2008, Father Peter Ha The Hien was in charge of Thanh Tin Parish. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of the parish, in addition to preparing the soul, Father Peter and the community built a new parish house (2012).
