In 1972, a number of parishioners from Binh Long and other places came to Xuan Hoa commune, Long Khanh district to live and settle. Bishop Daminh Nguyen Van Lang sent Father Daminh Tran Van Nguyen to help lay people in their faith life. Father Daminh and parishioners have built two leaf houses for religious activities.nnIn 1974, Bishop Daminh officially established the Parish with the name Thanh Tam Parish III. After 1975, most of the parishioners returned to Binh Long, some even established Catholic King Xuan Hoa, belonging to Long Thuan parish.nnIn early 1989, Bishop Paul Maria Nguyen Minh Nhat appointed Father Thomas Tran Van Dai to be the parish priest of Long Thuan and oversee the Blessed Christian King Xuan Hoa. In the same year, the Christian community of King Xuan Hoa built a temporary religious chapel to serve as a place of worship and prayer.nnIn 2004, Pope Paul Maria appointed Father John Pham Dinh Chuong to be the deputy of Long Thuan and in charge of Blessed Christian King Xuan Hoa.nnThree years later, 2007, Bishop Daminh Nguyen Chu Trinh raised Pope Xuan Hoa, Blessed King Xuan Hoa, into a parish with the new name Xuan Christ and appointed Father John Pham Dinh Chuong as parish priest.nnIn 2011, Father John and the parish community of Xuan Christ inaugurated the church, catechist and pastoral house respectively. At present, under the guidance of Father John, the pastoral activities of the community have entered the order and stability and the faith life of Xuan Christ lay people has been increasingly enhanced.nnLocation: The East borders Binh Thuan province; The West borders on Long Thuan land; The South borders Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province; The North borders Tánh Linh district, Bình Thuận province.nnArea: 12 km2nnPopulation: 15,000 people - 706 Catholic families, including 2,806 parishioners - Ratio: 18.7%nnParish priest: Thomas Tran Van Dai (1989 - 2004)nnFather John Pham Dinh Chuong is malnourished (2004-2017)
