11/2018 It appears that at this time Vietnam is investing large sums of money along the Mekong River. Everything along this strech of street is under construction, even the hotel. If you are staying one night and moving on, this hotel is fine. Wait until construction is complete before staying longer.

DONT STAY HERE. THEY DONT WASH SHEETS AFTER CUSTOMERSnnYou would think that paying more for a room, you'd get higher than standard. Dont be fooled!nnCame here late this evening, 12am because it was on google maps located by the river. I usually read reviews, but we were so tired I didnt care to.nnThe receptionist was nice. Said he didnt have much information about the area because he just moved here. But gave us some tips about tours. We happily got the 3rd floor for 310vnd and made our way upstairs.nnWe were looking for a place with a river view and this hotels layout was beautiful. Each floor was open with windows and a sitting place to enjoy the river.nnWe were struck with reality when we entered our roomnnSign 1: We found a mattress in the hallway. Worried, we checked the mattress in the room.nnSign 2: lifted up one corner of fitted sheet, there was mold and dust under the bed and mold on wood bed framennSign 3:There were a couple of bugs on top of the mattress. But unidentifyable. I removed the fitted sheet from another corner and saw a lot of clustered orange fungus on one corner! It looked like it had been growing there for awhile. It was as big as your hand. If they were cleaning after every customer that goes in the room, that wouldn't have been missed.nnSign 4: bar of soap that looked like it had been used for a couple months as it was swindled down to a flat circle.nnSign 5: battery in remotes were dead. I turned on the ac before checking for bed bugs.nnThe nasty stuff on the bed turned us off and we didnt bother asking for another room. If they dont clean the sheets, what else arent they cleaning!?!!? I was sick to my stomach and wanted to vomit. I should have taken pictures, but I was too disgusted to. And had to GET OUT upon finding it.nnA disgusting disappointment and disgrace for them to allow people to sleep in that. It's a shame, because weve never had that problem in vietnam.nnIt was hard telling the receptionist that we couldnt spend the night, because the bed was dirty. Especially after he was so nice to us. We told him he could look at it if he wanted.nnThe awkward part wasnt telling him the situation, the awkward part was him asking if we turned out the lights.nnEYE OPENER. Shows that he didnt care. He wasnt embarrassed. But he did apologize.nnDefinitely put a damper on our night. But we found a clean hotel for cheaper after. Dont get into that mess of a hotel.

So so. More experiences. Service is not good.
