Cửu Long Hotel

1 star was for location right along the river front.nThe Bed is rock hard! (And I’m not exaggerating) it was clean and good view but that was it.nStaff do not speak english well, a few words but nothing else.nBreakfast was terrible, we arrived at 8am and the food had looked like it had been sitting there since it started at 6.30am! Bugs were over the food, no covers for some of the hot food either.nThe wifi is hardly works at all.

The room was clean and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Good value for money. Food was disappointing. My Tho is a pretty sleep city and the notable tourist trips can probably be done in a day and a half. Through the hotel I arranged a boat trip to visit some of the local islands and both the guide and value were excellent. Ideally placed to visit the Vinh Trang pagoda. Other than the pagoda and a boat trip, not alot going on in My Tho.

This is my first time to My Tho. I found this city is nice and Cuu Long hotel is located at the riverfront. There are small recreation park along the river, so people can take exercise, relax, and sit along Mekong river mouth.nThe room in this hotel is okay. Bed and pillow are not fuffy type, but not hard when you lay down...guessing made by rubber. Cleanliness is acceptable. Food (breakfast included in room) is good. Weak point I experienced in this hotel is about toilet. Bath towels found with some stains (black or brown), so the laundry might need to use bleaching to ensure all stains were removed properly. Next water pressure is poor for higher floor. My room is on 6th floor and water is not strong. The check out day I have to ask to move due to no water for shower. Last is bath gel and shampoo are very thick (too high viscosity), so it is hard to get the solution out from the small bottles. I think providing as recycle dispenser like in public toilet (ground floor) might be better.

30 min to have my invoice...n1st night, 13/01/20, big party in the hotel, impossible to sleep...nBed matress very hard and not confortable...
