This little lodge is a beautiful place to stay in Pu Luong. Set a little apart from the busier areas, all the rooms have lovely views of mountains and rice paddies. The food here is simple but fantastic local cooking. Each room is charmingly decorated with a balcony where you can sit outside in nature. An excellent choice for couples or solo travelers looking for an authentic experience.

We spent 3 days in february 2020 at the amazing stay home Lua Puluong. Despite a cloudy weather, our stay was quiet and wonderful. It was marvelous to wake up with a view on the valley and the ricefields. Lua took care of us as we were her own friends. Diners were home made, with local foods and recipes, and excellent. And last but not least : the stay home is isolated from the others stay homes !! So you feel almost alone ;-)

We’ve been to Pu Luong 3 times and stayed at different homestays each visit. We’ll usually opt to stay at the places with the highest and most reviews. Lua Pu Luong, having just opened in Feb of 2020 only had a couple reviews, although all were excellent, we had our doubts. This place is top notch though!!! Not only would we consider this the best homestay we’ve been to in Pu Luong, we would consider this the best homestay we’ve been to in all of Vietnam in the last 2 years.nnLua Pu Luong is tucked away on a jungle hillside that overlooks a beautiful terraced valley and mountains to the east where you’ll catch spectacular morning sunrises. It’s extremely quiet and private away from all the other homestays in the area, so it doesn’t have the same touristy vibe as the main homestay area in Pu Luong. Ms. Lua is an outstanding host, speaks excellent English, and takes every measure to make sure your stay is the most enjoyable. Oh… and the food rivals some of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in Vietnam.nnI almost hate to submit this review, because selfishly I’d like to keep this place my secret hideaway from Hanoi and I will most certainly be back! 10’s all around!
