I'm sure it's important, it's very old, but there just isn't a lot to see any more.

Also called 9 pillars mosque, It’s actually been a Zoroasterian Fire Temple that after Arab invasion switched to a mosque. It was built in second half of 9th century A.D. Many believe that it has been the first mosque in Afghanistan. Although currently nothing is remained but some half ruined pillars and enterance is blocked but people mostly come to visit the garden around it. It’s located in 3 kilometers south of Balkh.
