Rozafa Castle

Beautiful castle - for me better than Berat because it is just a castle sitting on a high mountain. You don't have to fight yourself through weird alleys, restaurants, residents or other stuff.. Entry is fair too

Best place to visit. Full of history.

Amazing place to visit, especially if u love antique and history. The view of Shkodra city from castle is amazing.

Rozafa is the name of young pregnant wife, burried alive into the walls by her husband and two brothers în law, as tribute to build the fortress. An identical legend is also în Romania, where Ana had same end, tribute to a monastery. Worth to be visited.

Very nice view and interesting monument. Clean too. Access by car is a bit difficult.
