Hotel Carmen

Hotel Carmen was amazing. It’s set in the central part of Shkodër, Albania and so is near everything. The reception team were so welcoming and helpful to advise places to go and eat. The rooms were exceptional and very clean. A very high standard hotel with amazing service. I would come back in a heart beat!

Written from US standard: bed and pillows felt like plywood. Use slippers in wet bathroom after shower or you will die. Could hear everything on street below us until bars closed that night. If I spoke Albanian I could've chimed in, that's how well we could hear them. Once the bars closed the wild dogs came out and it was a night to bark, howl and chase one another. They seemed to really like this street. After the dogs it was the leaky sink faucet with the drip...drip...drip. And finally, it was the mosque call to prayer at around 5am. And you cannot drive to hotel, must walk due to street.

Great experience and overall very kind staff. The breakfast was always ready and stocked with yummy amd fresh food.

Great place! The Staff was friendly. The rooms luxurious and comfortable at the same time.
