Bar Restaurant Kerculla

Great food and an awesome view - can definitely recommend it. Found the quality of food higher than elsewhere with prices more or less the same.

Delicious food, good service, perfect viewing of balcony

We decided to dine at Kerculla resort because of the extraordinary view that it offers over Gjirokaster . If one does not have a car, it's quite some walk up a steep road before reaching the restaurant. The tables are arranged on several levels and it is a personal preference to choose a place next to the outdoor pool or under the beautiful hand-carved wooden ceiling inside. The menu is not long (I found this as indication of a good place), and it offers a very good selection of options. The starters include local specialties like qifqi (delicious rice balls with herbs), spinach and cheese burek, qofta (traditional meatballs), sallate shope (a variation of the famous Bulgarian salad), etc. The main dishes are centered on meat - huge portions of pork or beef cooked in rich wine sauce. The waiters are very attentive and helpful. Prices are affordable, I would say even cheap for the quality the restaurant offers. Completely recommended!
