Gonia Restaurant Himara

Decent restaurant right on the beach front. They serve a lot of fish & seafood but is more on the expensive side compared to other restaurants in the area. I paid around €7 for eight pieces of calamari & although I asked for the cuttle fish they gave me the squid. Staff are friendly & speak English but it would be great if they took more care when people make orders.

Great service, delicious food, nice view of the beach. The waiter offers you dishes off the menu which you can see on a wooden tray before buying. One of the best places we tried in Himara.

Delicious traditional greek food. I liked the food, the service is great, and the view is WOW. The "Meze e pijanecit" is something that you have to order if you like to enjoy the wine/beer with a topical source and vegetables! Highly recommend!

Excellent food. Try the “djath të skuqur” (fried cheese) with an excellent eggplant dipping sauce.

Good location on the promenade, nice tables. At our dinner portion of potato chips (chips rather than fries, very tasty) was so small that we thought it would be a greeting from the kitchen while waiting for the right meal 🤷, with Aubergine Imam there was no feta cheese included dr and portion Lamb chops - even if for one person - TINY 😦 The ordered dishes did not come together, but one after the other. A real shame, because everything was delicious, just children's portions 😐. The service staff are also more concerned with themselves than with the guests. No recommendation!
