Gasthaus Wolf

Totally rude service that does not deserve your business!!! I arrived to an empty restaurant and was seated at the worst table, crammed into the kitchen with people passing with food by my head and was told the place was fully booked. It remained almost empty through my meal and several unreserved parties were seated in the main dining room. This provincial way of behaving in places that take ones money will only change when we stop frequenting them. I speak German and was nothing but polite. I will not return.

Excellent traditional Austrian food and wine. Very friendly and competent staff. Extremely pleasant evening in a neighborhood restaurant. Creative take on Austrian food for example my deer ragout on pasta with a little cranberry cream.

I liked the food, schnitzel and chicken, as well as the beer. The look was nothing special and the service ok.

Gasthaus Wolf could easily be overlooked when passing it in this quiet neighborhood. But it‘s some of the best traditional food we have tasted. The menu is so traditionally Viennese it was almost indecipherable to a native german speaker even. Delightful!
