When a friend told me that this place is serving the best 'Schnitzel' in the area I didn't quite believe him. Now let me tell you: This place is serving the best Schnitzel I have ever tasted in my entire life. It's THAT good and the portions are h-u-g-e. I recommend trying the chili-mustard Schnitzel if you are ready to feel the burn. The Gasthaus is being managed by a couple and they are fantastic. Always up for a chat and always friendly when I was there. They only have very few tables in the Winter so make sure to reserve early. There is only a local audience in this Gasthaus, you will not find many (any?) tourists here. I am also not sure if they even speak english. :) As of today ( 30. 01. 2018 ) you can't find this place on Tripadvisor for example. Some of the less positive stuff: Update 29. 07. 2019: This place is a non-smoking restaurant now so deleting my old information regarding smoking guests in restaurant. There's also a lot of noise in the restaurant in the evening and generelly people coming there seem to enjoy having loud conversation.
