My husband is making me write this review: “We had a couple of hours to kill so I asked my wife to have a look on google to see if she could find an interesting/quirky museum. The description didn’t do it many favours but we went for it anyway. This place is fantastic!!! If you like old things and quirky things then you’re in for a treat. It’s not all my cup of tea, especially the nativity scenes and the doll collection, but the machine shop, tractor shed, mountaineering memorabilia etc etc etc, were all amazing. There is something here for everyone! This place is an interesting snapshot of the cultural heritage of the area, albeit in a somewhat unorganised/confusing layout. Not many of these museums around. A gem!” I didn’t think that much of it...

A really worth seeing museum. Gathered with so much love, just incredible. The "mechanical" departments are definitely worth seeing for a technology enthusiast. But all other departments are also worth seeing. And on the children's world door it says: "Adults also become children". Definitely. People, go and be amazed. It is not a waste of time!

Very nice museum. Many buildings are thematically divided. If you like old tractors, you've come to the right place.

We were there with our grandchildren (8 and 6 years). Lovingly designed and a lot to see for the boys too. House No. 8 is particularly nice for them because you could press so many buttons.
