Terrible service. Wine not tasting at all good (seemed like it already expired). They change me the wine for a much more expensive one a Cuvée without asking me, and later they charge me both wines. Service was really bad, not able to properly place the wine over the table or give some advice. Cannot say more, very disappointed of such a nice looking place...

Really nice place to try Austrian wines. Great recommendations. A nice detail/ clever incentive was that they gave you a discount toward a purchase in the store based on how much you spent in the restaurant. We then went to the shop below and received great advice on some local sparkling wines. They also let us taste a few in the shop. Just what we were looking for during a quick day trip in town!

Wien & CO is a chain in Vienna. It's a good place to try and buy wines from Austria as well as from other parts of Europe. This specific location has a darker ambiance and lots of space between tables, so you can have a decent conversation here even on weekend nights. The food menu is in German and English, while the wine menu is only in German. The seats are relatively comfortable, the tables are nice thick wood and overall the place has a warm ambiance. Downstairs there is the wine and chocolate shop. The hours for the store are very different from the wine bar upstairs, so go shopping first if you need a bottle for later. Everything closes too early in Vienna, so be prepared.
