Bikram Yoga Wien Süd

This place is wonderful! Very nice room - lots of windows and mirrors. Light and spacious changing rooms. Teachers are very kind and caring. They are friendly, gave me good advice on my practice. I live a bit far so I could not come as often as I wish I could. Some classes are in English (! thank you!!!). This summer I took a lesson with Darren. He is a great guy. I also met Tina, she is super sweet.

First of all I would like to say that Bikram or Hot Yoga is not the kind of yoga that suits everyone. Since it is practiced in a warm room people sweat by nature (a lot). Second, I would like to state that a teacher does not define a yoga studio. I had many different teachers in the world. Some teachers are good, some are friendly and some are all of the opposite. But I was aware that some teachers were not good because it was my own ego or my own subjective thinking. A studio is a platform for teachers and students. Relationships among humans can be tricky. “Offmate engagements” are between people. A yoga studio has nothing to do with that. I do hope that those who commented on a specific teacher took the opportunity to talk to Claudia and Srdjan (owners) about their personal issue. You can only contribute positively to the yoga community with openness and self-reflection. @ those who contemplate trying this studio: both owners and the rest of the team are very friendly and helpful. Please come and form your own opinion. Since travelling the world is on my agenda, I had opportunities to view other (Bikram) yoga studios around the globe. This specific yoga studio is one of the best, cleanest, and most enriching studios I have ever been too. The yoga room is well ventilated and the temperatures are good. Thus, so far I never felt too hot or uncomfortable. The yoga room is overlooking a park, which I find personally very enriching.

Best Hot Yoga ! Great yoga room, motivating teachers and the view from the yoga room into the trees is unforgettable. Wish they did more early morning classes.
