We had decided to stay away fromIndian food and try only local cuisine, however when we saw an Indian rests in this part of Vienna we could not stop ourselves. So glad we came here. Had prawns curry and chicken pepper dry with rice and chapati. The food was absolutely delicious and I would recommend it to anyone visiting this side of Vienna. There is a beautiful palace hotel to stay around.

A hidden gem. The first restaurant in Vienna I was inspired to write a review about, because getting authentic Indian cuisine in Vienna is rather hard, in my opinion -- most places substitute salt for spice and have vastly over-inflated reputations. I can't give 5 stars because the property is a bit out of repair, but I'd rather have good food than perfect decor. They serve great Indian food, with some items that are hard to find elsewhere, and have some Austrian food as well (good for the kids). Very friendly service. Easy dining, easy prices, I plan to return frequently.
