I have been to the consulate many times. My good luck always takes me to be dealing with Milad at the consulate. Milad is the most helpful, educated and professional person I have worked with at the consulate, I even every time see the staff come and ask him for things they are dealing with. I know and I can see the staff at the consulate and the one who sit next to milad that they do know nothing and they always make things complicated. I give the consulate at all 3 star but I give Milad 5 stars and he really deserve it as he is very polite and gentleman and doing his job professionally.

Reading some of the posted reviews I approached the Consulate this morning with concern. My email was responded to by phone almost within an hour by a staff member (Milad) who was courteous clear and concise in explaining what is needed to process my request. Early days to complete this transaction but it was a good start. Thank you.

I have been dealing with the consulate for more than 8 years. I always had problems and misunderstanding with them, but last few years every time I go to do any papers in the consulate I deal with Melad, Melad is the most represent able and professional person in the consulate, he is reliable, polite and so respectful by the way he deal with people and serve them, I will always refer my family and friends to ask if he can do their paper works. I give Melad 5 Stars as he knows what is he doing and he will always answer all your questions about any issue and inquiry concerning the Lebanese papers more than anyone works in the consulate. Melad 5 stars , you really deserve it. Many thanks for your professional way how to deal with your Country people.

I am writing this review to share the great experience I had today at the Lebanese Consulate. But first, let me shed some light on an important point: Most, even all, of the negative reviews are complaints against the consulate for not picking up the phone call, and those who have left these reviews must take into consideration that we are living in the 21st century and governmental agencies have shifted to the communication via emails. Try to call any other embassy or the Department of Australian Immigration, will they pick up your call? I don't think so. The automatic machine will respond you asking to visit their website or send them a written email. If the Lebanese Consulate want to pick up every phone call, the staff will be overwhelmed by the number of calls that may go all the way to 1 hour per call in some cases. Picking and responding every call by the consulate staff will definitely hamper their efficiency and this may result in delay in processing your inquiries. Now, if those, who complained because of not picking the phone, had not written these negative reviews, the rating would have been 4+. Their process is clear: Send an email to them stipulating what are you after. They will reply (sometimes in the same day...this what happened in my case) to show you all the procedures you need to follow and the documents you must prepare. Once you are ready, they book you an appointment....and things go smoothly. Now let me share my experience: I wanted to get some verification letter from the consulate and I send an email with the inquiry. Mr Meelad replied me the same day with the required documents. Once I had got my documents ready, I forwarded them to Meelad. Another staff member (I forgot his name) called me the other day to book me in. I went there on my booked slot, I got my letter done in 20 minutes. Shout out to all the staff over there and especially for Mr Raymond.
