I fractured my arm in 2 places & had an appointment on the 12 November at 8.30am in the university fracture clinic c block at Westmead public hospital my appointment was with Jason Fletcher he explained to me what I needed to do to help my injury heal he was very caring & helpful he had a nurse put a different sling on my arm which really helped she also was very helpful I didn't get her name sorry I didn't but if i could give more than 5 stars I definitely would Thankyou Jason & the nurse for all your help. Will be going back for follow ups.

Great place...the wait may be long at times...but you will be seen....be patient ....be cool.....there are many patients much sicker than you at times.... NSW Health is the problem for the hospital... not Westmead Hospital or it's staff!!!

Patients treatment needed to be better! I know its public hospital! But i have met 2 of these worst nurses at this hospital in my life!!! And they are obvious discrimated too!!!

The Nurses were very self reserved and able to adapt to the common complications put apon them by the verbuly abusive individual in my room by one Ove four anyway. He was just being homesick. Overall the professionalism and thoroughness well met my needs. I had a bloke in my room, he needed extra help, he got it! Greg. High respect 👌

My partner had a surgery on 20th of August 2020, so we had to go to day surgery unit, unfortunately the receptionist wasn’t anywhere around being friendly or caring , though the nurses were nice. Then after surgery the recovery nurses called me to let me know which ward he will be moved to after surgery and i went there (B3a ward), the nurses were okay and told me to stay out of unit as he wasn’t in yet . When he arrived it was 10 minutes after the visiting hours (12:10) and very rudely and unfriendly manner a nurse from the first room on the left side of the ward entrance ( nurses manager, nurse educator) told me off and didn’t let me in to see my partner after 6 hours. Which I found it too much , and then at 4:55 pm when i came back for a visit , she was almost screaming at me for being 5 minutes early and didn’t let me in the ward though the doors were fully opened . I had so much stuff that i had to bring for my partner (food, his laptop, his charger, coffee ) and they were quite heavy but she made me stand outside and i got sore arm since then for 2 days . Well i wish I would never be forced to go back there ever .
