Breastscreen WA - Head Office

I was appalled by my experience at Breast Screen WA in Padbury. My appointment was11.30am in early February. I was the only client there, I was rushed to complete the paperwork and it was taken off me before I had completed it and told it would be completed later. I am a retired professional and very accustomed to filling out paperwork efficiently and have had many mammograms over the years.nI was rushed in and the procedure was completed very quickly. When I went to leave there was a staff member at the door waiting to lock the door after I left at 11.45am. I said I would like to use the toilet and the was a heavy sigh of dissatisfaction.nThe Breast Screen unit STANK of Asian Food, obviously there was a staff Asian lunch about to happen and I was holding them up and a huge inconvenience. There are no Asian Restaurants in the complex, the overpowering food smell was definitely coming from the staff area in Breast Screen unit.

Called up to ask for information about a breast scan with an outlook to booking an appointment after a private recommendation to get my breasts checked. Upon giving some information about myself to the lady on the phone, I was laughed at for requesting a breast scan at the age of 19. Considering all the attempts to raise awareness about breast cancer, this is a pretty poor way to encourage the scans among women. Very unprofessional way to approach the situation. I have now been completely discouraged from going along for a scan anywhere.
