Seems like they have a great range of products, mostly all at the higher end of the quality and therefore price spectrum. I was lured in by their Facebook page as somewhere who could help a novice, but the staff were very disinterested in me even though I was the only person in the store. They were too busy talking about their hobbies and next holiday. Pity as I am needing a new surf rod, tackle box and lures for up north. Hopefully it’s a once off for their normal customers, but I wont be visiting again.

My go to tackle shop in perth. These guys have all your fishing gear from low budget to high end gear and tackle. They have you covered.Also lots of info on where to fish and how to fish the west coast from Exmouth to Esperance offshore and land base which is why i love these guys. Go and check them out! You wont regret it.

Good range of quality gear at fair prices, and Hon-Su is always reliable. Recently got some advice from Luke though that was just plain bad. Has unfortunately damaged my confidence in him and this store..

TackleWest is a great little hidden gem tackle store!nIf you want any to do with fishing - Luke and Hon-Su at TackleWest are the guys to see!n... and if they don’t have it in stock I am pretty sure they can order it in for you.nEverything from the brands you know like Daiwa, Penn, Nomad, Abu Garcia, Nomad, Rapala, Vexed bottom meat ... just to name a few ... not mention the boutique Japanese fishing brands such as Meiho and Zenqa!nTackleWest stock just top quality stuff which you just can not get at other stores like BCF and Anaconda.nnWith Luke’s help I bagged my first ever dolly (mahi mahi) on lures and live bait!nnHon Su’s recommendation of switching over to lighter line and fluorocarbon line using spinner at Harvey dam - I smashed my PB rainbow trout (see photos).nnHighly recommended!
