Dear Real Flame - we were looking forward to using our new gas fireplace today. We turned it on and within minutes our family all had a headache from the foul smell the fireplace emits. When i called you, you said sorry, that’s just how it is, it is a common problem and that we need to run the fireplace for 5-6 hours before it hopefully dissipates. Why didn’t you mention this when we bought the fireplace? Why doesn’t it say this anywhere on the website or instructions? Why don‘t you fix that common problem so your poor customers don’t get sick from just turning the fireplace on? We are now at home freezing with all our doors and windows open trying to get rid of this suffocating unbearable “new fireplace” smell. Real disappointing.

We shopped around a lot before buying our fireplaces because we bought two so it was a big investment. Real Flame Chatswood were by far the most helpful and informative and also had our two favourite fireplaces. Lars was our main point of contact and was exceptional... he really knows his stuff, he goes above and beyond the call of duty, and we felt confident from the beginning that we were in good hands. I couldn’t recommend Lars, Real Flame Chatswood and their fireplaces more! We are thrilled all round! Thanks guys!
