Appalling customer service. Agree 100% with other reviewers. Let’s hope these offshore brands find better service agents to deal for them in Australia. Have contacted each of the brands overseas to suggested they are being sold short here. Unebelievably bad.

We recently finished our bathroom renovation. The majority of fixtures used were from well known brands, however the retailer used two items from Argent to supplement the other fixtures where the main brands didn’t have a product in their range. Both the Argent products used, a ceramic basin waste and a chrome shower joint/fixture have issues. The waste doesn’t have an adequate gap for drainage and we were forced to use a plastic spacer to get it to work as expected. The chrome shower joint has an exceptionally sharp lower edge, the result of which is that it is very easy to damage the plastic shower hose which keeps getting sliced/damaged when removing the shower head. In both cases after Argent sent a replacement item (with the same problem) which didn’t resolve the issue, Argent replied that there is nothing more they can do and it must be a issue with our bathroom rather than their products. This is contrary to the view of both the builders and retailer who have actually been onsite and witnessed the issues. Terrible approach to customer service and arguably a response which is in breach of Australian Consumer Law. Avoid their products if at all possible.
