National Storage Kelmscott, Perth

I received a letter asking me to leave a review of National Storage Kelmscott. We needed a space for our caravan and made the mistake of paying for 6 months without inspecting the hardstand first. After signing up we were made aware of several problems with the security system. First being that there is 1 pin code for every user. Second being the inside pinpad doesn't work (and hadnt worked for quite some time by the sounds of it) so we had to place something over the sensor to stop the gate closing. The hard stand itself is in a terrible state. Over run with weeds and in a completely unkempt condition. There was also no security cameras visible (and if they are there they are obviously not meant to be a deterrent) it took a few days for us to find a new storage solution and and when I rung up about cancelling I was told I would have to pay for the whole month- the caravan was there less than a week and my concerns about the lot were completely glazed over. I assume I am not the first one to take this action. In fairness the remaining months i paid for in advance were refunded very quickly and the staff at Forrestdale were easy to deal with. The kicker is I receive a email today stating if I or a friend/family member wish to use there services I am entitled to 50% off. I could not in good conscience recommend the Kelmscott location to anyone.

Poorly run and managed facility in Kelmscott Western Australia. Cameras didn't work and my friend's unit was broken into and management were unable to help police investigating. they haven't done anything to help him either.

Hire moving trucks?Value for money. Trucks are not brand new but that are very good. Awesome customer service. Family owned. Very flexible with pickups and drop offs. Personally, my first place to go if I am moving.

Great little gem hidden in the Armadale/Kelmscott area. Well priced and good service for truck hire, even for a Friday! Took $500 as a bond on eftpos and was returned less than a week later(due to different banks). No issues at all financially. Vehicle hand over and walkthrough was detailed and not rushed and well explained. Will use again
