I have had some positional dizziness for a few weeks. I thought it was BPPV and should bet something done. Now I am an ENT surgeon by training and know plenty about BPPV but thought it best not to treat myself but go and see someone for some proper assessment and exercises.
I found Perth Dizziness and Balance online, I had never referred anyone there myself and did not know Kate the physio. The clinic itself is not very flash but I was impressed by the depth of assessment and knowledge Kate has - better than seeing an ENT surgeon. Dont know if I am cured - only saw her today - but will repost once I know.
OK 2 weeks later. I had 2 sessions of repositioning exercises. That seems to have done the trick.
Kate saved me. After having a series of dizzy spells over 6 months and so many tests, followed by a 24 hour labyrinthitis attack (which can only be described as hell), I found Kate. I wish I had found her earlier. She provided me the support that I needed when I felt so lost and searching for answers. Plus she got rid of my BPPV after a few sessions. I would 100% recommend her to anyone. Especially when ENT or Neurologist appointments can take a long time to get, Kate should be your first stop.
