Canterbury Hospital

I have to agree with the positive reviews given for Canterbury Hospital. i had my 4 babies there and the care I received was second to none! The staff were truly amazing (professional, caring and compassionate). I have since returned for 2 day surgeries and again, I cannot praise them enough. For a local public service it is fantastic! I have no hesitation in recommending Canterbury Hospital!

My wife was giving a birth in this hospital and I was really surprised by the quality of provided service. The staff was really amazing, professional and attentive. The food was good, room clean. This is such a great hospital I was in day surgery & had never been here before. The service from start to finish was amazing and fast.. Staff are very friendly and helpful given how busy they are how many patients they are trying to manage.Even following up to see how the surgery went. most impressed Thank you.

I have the utmost patience and respect for our frontline workers, but the service here was hostile, rude, and not to standard.nI came in for an emergency and was asked the same repetitive questions multiple times from different staff members and nurses.nThere seemed to be no communication whatsoever between staff, a lack of sympathy during treatment as well as a real sense of chaos despite a very straightforward issue at hand.nManagement really needs to look into some of the processes here to provide better patient care.

Please don't send your elderly loved ones to this hospital. There is no care and no responsibility. Should you have no other choice make sure you stay with them as much as possible and care for them in the hospital as the staff are not attentive to the patients needs. I understand that they are understaffed, but when you are dealing with peoples lives all care must be provided...Nurses and doctors have poor communication in this hospital. Worst experience ever!
