I needed to replace my garage door remote and Metro Locks were able to supply me with a replacement for just $44! I programmed it myself in 2 minutes - highly recommended!

I first engaged Metro Locks to re-key my new home on purchase in Port Adeldaide. A master locksmith was on-site at very short notice and re-keyed all doors alike for my convenience. The quality of customer service from receiving my request, promptness of attendance and deft completion of the service request was truly outstanding. Luckily the exceptional service I had received previously meant I had full recollection of the name 'Metro Locks' when I accidentally locked myself out of my new home when I came home from work yesterday evening. As a new person to the area relocating from interstate, I did not have local family or friends to call on for assistance. I rang Metro Locks out of hours and they attended very promptly to render assistance with both access to my home and advice on appropriate back-up strategies should such an eventuality arise again. I could not recommend Metro Locks more highly for their professional capability in locksmithing and their responsive customer service, including out of hours support. Five Stars!

Contacted Metrolocks Adelaide to install a heavy duty lock upon recently installed new security door on river front pole/twostorey/raised holiday home, and after receiving a prompt quote, Metrolocks Adelaide arranged fitting a heavy duty door handle lock. However upon next visit, and when most of the family went for a morning walk, our daughter and her child found themselves locked in. Upon return from the walk, we examined the newly install door lock and found that when both doors had been closed shut, the door handles between the main door and the new handle of the security door clashed, preventing any exit from the pole home. Next week, we emailed Metrolocks Adelaide were they eventually attended the river front holiday home. However at our fault the spare key was not in position, and Metrolocks Adelaide were unable to enter. Apparently Metrolocks Adelaide attempted to report no access. Next over 14 months, emails went to and for and in short, Metrolocks Adelaide offered to installed a new handle style at our cost, however because we had already paid for, and in our view a faulty workmanship, we declined and requested they install at their cost. They then declined to further attend to the clashing door handles problem because we told them where to install the heavy duty lock in that position, when in fact , we simply requested a heavy duty security handle be installed because the existing door handle would not work. Over six months of emails we sought to receive 50% of our money back, to which they are maintaining their denial for another six months by reaffirming we told them where to put the new handle -Incorrect "we simply requested a heavy duty security handle be installed because the existing door handle would not work" and the debate continues.

Locksmiths? More like lock magicians! I have been using metro locks for a few years and have had good experiences. Pricing is usually good.
