Hyde Park Grocery (Foodworks) has 500% improved and it's all down to Corey, the new manager. He is very welcoming and responsive to customers. There are plenty of familiar staples but also lots of new specialty lines. There's a wide range of gluten free options including ready-made meals, pasta, flour and sweet treats. In a post Covid, tighter budget world, there are less lines than before but far more quality options for meal prep, quick pick up and indulgence! There are many SA icon products (local small batch producers get a good look in) and also a growing range of hard to source gourmet items such as cheeses and and breads. Definitely drop in and see for yourself!

Open from early til late most days including public holidays, friendly service and great range - everything you need and some specialty things too. Love the fresh bread, apple pies, gourmet sausages, artisan pasta, etc.
