Absolutely Asian Groceries

This shop is listed on google that it opens at 7:30 but today they didn’t open till nearly quarter to 8. I needed a metro card recharged and after I waited for them to be organised I put $10 on in cash as they don’t accept card payments for recharged here. I ran across the road to catch the next bus to the city only to find that the recharge had not been put on my card. When I called he told me it was recharged. Lucky my bus driver let me on or I would not have been able to make it to work.

The lovely Thai lady in the kitchen makes THE BEST Vegetarian cold rolls. I have been buying them from there for maybe 15 years. Love the texture and freshness and also the fact that they are full of herbs and crunchy vegies, with only a tiny bit of noodle. She also used to make a great green papaya salad (which was sensational)...but I haven't seen it there for some time. I must request that again, it was the bomb!
