The food was delicious with good portion sizes, especially considering the price. Perfect for sharing as well. Service was friendly and cheerful with staff actually having personalities making you want to talk to them.nnLeo was absolutely amazing as well. He was warm and inviting making sure people enjoyed their time and their meal. Also cracked a few jokes with 100% confidence in them. Definitely makes me want to go back

This is my second time here at this place and it was just amazing. The staff were nice and polite and the chef Leo is such a great cook and person. He would usually go around all the tables and personally greet the guests which is great to see and is rare in a restaurant these days. I will definitely come here again, hopefully soon after Christmas. I wish you and all your staff a very happy and healthy Christmas!

Interesting that the recent reviews are virtually all either a 1 star or a 5 star. Our night was very poor. There was only 1 other table occupied so no excuse for the very slow service to get water and then wine etc. Waitress was pleasant but not very interested. There was a group of us and the entrees were okay. Mains ranged from terrible to average. Pasta sauces were too watery and lacked taste. We all agreed that we could have cooked better ourselves and so would not go back again. Also no BYO allowed which I find somewhat restrictive. Was there a year or so ago and has definitely gone down hill.

Having visited Italy a number of times and Italian restaurants in various countries I know a good restaurant when I find one. Bella Tiarnie is up there with the best. Great varied menu, old school favourites blended with house specials. Try any of the seafood dishes, they’re superb. Reasonable wine selection too. Fairly priced, you get a lot for your dollar & friendly service. What more do you want?

Great tasting food and reliable for when we can’t be bothered to cook one night. Brought friends along for dinner one night and they also thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
