Holden Hill Police Station

I was abused by two officers there. They were more childish than almost anyone I've ever met, as though their authority corrupted who they are and made them ego driven and ignorant. They didn't listen to anything I said and kept abusing me and telling me that I'm not a police officer, let people do crime and stop reporting them" I stayed calm the whole time but that only fed their ego, knowing I would take their abuse and not retaliate. I never got their names. One has been an officer for over 30 years and kept saying it over and over. "I'M RIGHT BECAUSE I'M AN OFFICER OF 30 YEARS" And he wasn't even right, want to know why? Because the female police officer who I initially dealt with and wanted advice from the other officer, actually gave her own view of what happened and not the actual story that I had told her, because she didn't expect the other officer to come out and talk to me. So then he went on a rant saying I was wrong and didn't let me get so much as a word in to correct him. All he kept saying was "I'm the officer you're not, you're wrong I'm right, stop reporting crime, you're not a police officer" over and over. I left getting no assistance and yet received abuse for trying to do the right thing. Oh the irony, being the people who are meant to help and instead who are themselves mentally ill and corrupt. Please note, not all police are bad, I've met nice officers before.

Waited about half an hour in an empty waiting area for anyone to greet us. When Sergeant Daniel Guzej finally came out he complained that our Registration of a Relationship is not real police work. He then complained that our electricity bill was not 'the original'. Just because we used an e-mailed bill. Even though we had proof of purchase in the form of a receipt. He didn't suggest any way to resolve that problem or anything. Just said "I dunno, all this digital stuff is new" Bloody unhelpful.

Not helpful at all! They can't wait to get rid of you and your problem rather than trying to help, providing advice and direction.Bad luck if you had something stolen, car collision or anything SMALL. They can't help! Waste of time!

Had dealings with this police station back in the year 2000. I was unfortunate enough to come across a young aboriginal kid sitting in the drivers seat of my car in the carpark behind the prospect branch of the Commonwealth bank. Had a brief tussle with him in order to do nothing more than prevent him from taking off with some of my belongings. Another adult aged aboriginal crept up on me and smashed me in the face with a wrecking bar and I had to prevent him from hitting me with it two more times, I have 2 plates and 7 screws in my right cheekbone as a result. I honestly couldn't believe the amount of police, detectives and patrol cars that were there within just five or ten minutes. They picked the guy up just a short distance down the road before I'd even been put in an ambulance. The outcome of all this was; he's aboriginal. The female detective I dealt with stated that we're not meant to say it but she said it anyway, he's aboriginal and we (as in the police in general) can't do anything because of that. She also informed me that he'd already had a whole string of break-ins and assaults against his name. The guy was basically just a career criminal. I on the other hand was just on my way to work minding my own business. Something certainly isn't right about all that

Went in to get help as i was kidnapped and held against my will for 5 days and was lucky to escape with my life. I was told by the officer/sergeant that i had to go and call the police in the area that it happen that there was nothing he could do.😭 I left mortified not only had i experienced a traumatic situation but i left feeling totally vulnerable and no where to go. This is over a year ago and i will never go back again and my gp is aware but his hands are tied as there is no report number and he doesnt understand why i was left to go home on my own. This is so unacceptable in Australia. Im surpose to be protected and the perk in jail. He is still looking and ive had to update all my security just so i can feel safe but i still dont. I have gone to the salvation army about this and called lifeline. They are overwhelmed then COV19 hit and im just hanging on. While at the station on another matter of life threatening and public abuse by a known assailant the police who called him and explained that its a federal offence to send threatening abuse i heard the abuser laughing at the cop and i heard him say go ahead i have rights too. End if call. I witnessed a 19year old who was there with her mother and partner because her ex boyfriend 26 has mental health issues and is known by police that the perk was on there property at night peeking thru the window/then sent her a text message saying he is outside and is going to kill her family. I hope that there safe but this young lady could hear my experience and came over to express why are you(police)not helping her. Well i appreciated the extra voice but i was left unheard and its still continuing today. This is a really beautiful earth and i hate really am disgusted i have to share it with violent unaccountable inhuman atrocities to kind caring caretakers of this earth. Why are the police not protecting me when i went through a traumatic experience.👃
