Hair Today

Worst hair salon in town. The owner is very rude. 2 years ago I ask a simple question the the daughter's owner which she replied to "uh in another life" I did not set foot in that salon ever since until today just to buy a birthday gift. I was paying at the desk when I've been physically moved away by the grumpy owner so the person behind my can sign on their book. How long does a payment take really?! Surely not long enough to justify being physically moved away from the counter ! Lucky I did not have time otherwise I would have asked for a refund. I would definitely never go back and would advise everyone to not go ! I have been going to Mombassa for the last 3 years and I have never been disappointed. Far more relaxing and always a great service there. The owner is clearly never happy and has the worst customer service.

Went in on Wednesday to get eyebrows threaded. The lady said to come back Friday or Saturday. No problem. Went back on Friday and was turned away as they were “too busy” by a friendly apologetic hairdresser with red hair. Went in on Saturday and spoke to a blonde woman who sarcastically said not possible for eyebrow wax or thread. I’m from out of town with no beauty services where I live. unfortunately for me it’s too late to make a booking on a Saturday at another Salon last minute. Sadly I’ll be going home with no service done. Have been coming here several times a year for the last few years. Services too rushed and overpriced. Men’s and women’s hair cuts really are not the best but have been some what convenient so have returned. Will NOT be recommending this place anymore!!! Do yourself a favour and make an appointment at a better salon to secure a booking so you are not turned away three times in four days.

Worst customer service experience ever (especially from the owner)!

Have never had a worse customer experience in my life! To start, was humiliated & ridiculed in front of both staff & customers by Elaine (think she was the manager who has been mentioned previously in reviews), then told they could not do the cut I wanted (despite it being very straight forward) ... at this stage I was prepared to walk out! Lady who cut my hair was nice enough; however, didn't get what I wanted & paid $65 for a simple cut (no wash, no dry off or style). Definitely won't be going back!

The friendliest faces in hair. No booking needed, just fall in line and wait a few mins. Also the best place for you oldschool barbering needs.
