To all the people trashing this place, you realize that you can get your visa from most Chinese travel agents around the City and Box hill? Just give them your passport and for a nominal fee like $30ish above the visa cost, the travel agent will do it for you. There is no need to go to this place. The travel agents have back door channels to the embassy and get it done quick. You never gonna get good service, because there are too many Chinese diaspora around the world, so service at these places are never good. That's life, stop complaining.

Nice and helpful staff, very helpful over the phone. As the embassy is not open to public at the moment due to Covid restrictions. but if you call during their operation hours someone very helpful will answer the phone very quickly. very friendly too :)

Not helpful. I tried to call to renew my HK passport, no one answers the phone. They only email and give the link. The link is so confusing. I tried a lot of times, always finding trouble uploading the HK passport photo. I tried to apply by mail, the website way too confusing. Until now it still left me without renewing my passport. Can someone assist me with my renewal passport!

Always busy and unable to get through any phone calls. Staffs are not friendly and helpful at all.
