The only reason for a 1 star is that I cannot give a 0.nI have called them twice prior to picking up an order in regards to a Gender Reveal balloon inquiring on price and that if they have the confetti to which I was advised was $30 and yes they provide the confetti. As it will be a surprise for my partner and I, my partner took the sealed envelope from the doctor with our baby’s gender to the shop, ordered the balloon and asked that if he’s gonna put the confetti inside to which the owner said yes. He asked my partner to step out so he can do the balloon and also so my partner can put the back seats down in the car to fit it. Later that afternoon, we popped the balloon and to our disappointment there was no confetti. There was however a small piece of paper with a cartoon boy on it. It seems like he got the paper inside the envelope we gave him and shoved the paper inside the balloon and that was it. When we came to the shop a week after with the proof of receipt, the piece of paper with the gender and a video proving that there wasn’t any confetti, the owner said he was not advised to put confetti and that it cost extra. If so, we weren’t told at all as we would note than happy to pay extra for it. He also went on to say that he’s done many gender reveals before and it was not his responsibility to look at the gender either! He would not admit to his incompetence and poor service and refused to refund our money. We have taken this to Fair Trading and he is sticking to his story and no refund.nHe has ruined a day that would’ve been one of our happiest days considering we have been trying for awhile and the situation just made us very disheartened and very upset. You have ruined it all for us!
