Staff must have changed recently as I found my visits quite lovely. They helped me look through doona options designed for the Sydney climate, to help me stay warm through the cold seasons with my Winter quilt. Seems appropriate pricing for good products and a great range of affordable sheets, covers, and sales on different styles. Definitely recommended, offering good options and friendly staff. Always worth going up a size on blankets though (get a queen size for a double bed!)

I have been purchasing products from Ecodownunder for a number of years through the Newtown store and over the web. The products are of high quality and prices very reasonable. The level of service received has always been excellent.

Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing 4 bath towels. After washing before use, the threads came loose in one towel- went to return it, to have an incredibly rude staff member roll her eyes, saying she would only warrant an exchange as she couldn’t ‘tell’ if it was the fault of the towel. Of course they were very pleasant when we made our purchase- but appalling attitude, treating the customer stupidly when pointing out a product flaw. No apologies for our inconvenience. The remaining towels still have fluff coming off them even after two washes. Will absolutely not recommend them for their poor quality and horrible service. Shame as we like to support small business.

I brought a beach towel recently and washed it prior to use. All the threads started to come out and the blue cotton started flaking out. Disappointed, and there isn't anything wrong with my washing machine.

In the past I've had great experiences purchasing from this store. The product is great and reasonably priced and there is a great range of neutral and calming colours. On the last occasion however, I had the misfortune of returning to purchase a quilt cover set whilst a woman with dark hair was 'working'.nnNot so much as a hello and whilst I was trying to figure out what sets cost what, not so much as a finger was lifted (apart from the clicking of her mouse as she hunted for an air bnb on the computer). I went in specifically to spend money and was happy to spend more but in the end, this woman's complete lack of customer service and basic human manners, drove me from the store in disgust and disbelief.nnIf I owned the store, I would fire her on the spot as she was, quite simply, useless to the point of redundant. If I hadn't come all the way into Newtown to purchase from this store specifically, I would have left without purchasing a thing.
