The Parks Recreation and Sports Centre - YMCA

A great place for basketball. I haven’t been to the gym here but the courts are great! With an awesome skatepark outside and an outdoor hoop, this place is perfect to hang out with your mates.

I have been going to the Parks YMCA gym for years, even prior to the centre being revamped and reopening. The gym has only improved over the years, always accommodating the members needs. The facilities are great with many areas for training and a variety of classes you can attend, the 24/7 access is also a bonus.

Would not recommend to anyone.nnIncompetent staff and poor customer service.nnFacility has a history with overdrawing payments. Will take multiple visits to get your money back due to imcompetent staff. You might get a manager on your third if you're lucky.nnFacility more concerned about your money than service.nn2 stars due to location convenience. Would be 0 otherwise.

Ive had been a member for a while and can say that I'm really disappointed with the lack of customer service, professionalism and productive assistance when issues arise. Management staff ideally need to have some sort of customer service training provided to them moving forward in order to retain customers. There seems to be some lack of communication between departments as memberships cancelled twice for no reason; Constantly asking for more money, over and above fees paid. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone.
