Gold Coast Performance Centre

We arrived on Saturday for a full day of soccer competitions. Car parking facilities are limited. You couldn't even get a cup of coffee or tea. Poor access, no wheel chair access, centre closed at Noon. The only access to the public car park is to walk around the athletics track from the grandstand. Just as well we had our food with us. Get there early if you want a car park and take your own food.

Probably one of the best places to work out in the GC.

Parking and pathway to field is pretty lack lustre. No shade in their outdoor facilities which is a terrible oversite for any sporting facility in Queensland. The design of the sprinkler system for the hockey field fails to actually wet the whole field the majority of the time. The actual field is good, but without proper water it's going to get bad pretty quickly.

I occasionally use the gym and 50m pool. This place has it all. From full open space gym, Olympic and indoor swimming pool, to sauna (very important), spa and multiple exercise classes including yoga. Additionally there’s a coffee place, units for rent and track and field for athletics.
