So I used to live near here. Many years ago. Maybe 10. Time goes by, and we are never younger than today.
Anyway, I would sometimes walk through this park late at night to or from the Newmarket Hotel to where I lived. And for some reason I was scared of the dark. Scared! A grown man. Strange, strange. I would look behind my shoulder as I walked. A quickened pace. Why?
No reason. It’s a lovely place.
Good place for watching baseball game. But it’s hard to find the entrance.
