Lovely shade over the big pool. Kids had fun on the slides. It was a great family day.

Best place on a hot summer day to cool off in the pool or to have fun on the slides, maybe do a round of putt putt golf with the kids. They even have a kisok for food and drinks so perfect to stay the whole day

If you havent been here before, you'll be amazed of the facilities here, and when you're finished swiming, you can walk out the front, cross the road to the huge kids park with swings, toilets, more sporting ovals, skate park, and long exercise footpaths that here and there are shadowed by leafy Moreton Bay Fig Trees, some call them the Banyan tree. The pool is near a large sporting club where rugby league is played, Bingo facilities, sports bar near Rockhampton Rockets Basketball club. Barbecue and covered areas, new swings for kids all within a 150 metres and acros the road from the 42nd Battalion Swimming Pool. As I've said about other Rockhampton venues, Rockhampton is the SPORTING CAPITAL OF AUSTRALIA. There are so many Olympic and National sporting champions from our town its incredible to ponder.
