FUN! ud83cudf08 To answer your question - I went home and counted - 27 bears! ud83dude03nnStopped going here for a while after the management and staff changed so much that there were people working there maybe 1-2 years ago? Can't remember when I stopped going.....but there was a manager who didn't even collect the bears herself and seemed weirded out by adult collectors. I was sad at that time as it put a damper on the experience.nnI came back hoping for nicer staff and was was NOT disappointed. ud83dude03 Great staff now. I had so much fun with Nathan and it reminded me of why I fell in love with Build-a-Bear in the first place. ud83cudf1f I also noticed children smiling and laughing more too.nnStaff really do make all the difference as the whole reason I enjoy going is for the jokes, upliftment and fun that good staff bring. ud83dudc4dnnI recommend BAB Penrith as it's quite large and the atmosphere is back to being jolly and friendly again. ud83cudf84 Come bring the family for Christmas shopping - you won't regret it.

Honestly, I love visiting build a bear Penrith since it's my local joint.nnI really adore the Pokemon range the most and it's a pity I lack pictures of them all.nThe staff is always kind and helpful, they usually on the ball with offers and knowing their services. Even when super busy they try and help as much as they can.nnI would love more of a range like other countries but I am still so happy to get the ones we do have.nnEven buying online and having it shipped to me stuffed is great, they did a great job with that.

My husband and I seen this place as we were walking through the shops and had planned to visit there for our daughters to enjoy the experience of building a bear. We got them hyped up for the experience however when we got there the store looked somewhat empty however there was a birthday party of about 6 pre teens in the back. This is during covid-19 regulations with only a limited amount of people allowed in store so we asked a lady if she could cater to us.nnShe seemed very helpful at first however this went downhill FAST. Our daughters chose their bears and we then went over to the stuffing machine and that’s when she offered us extras. One being to put in a “special sound”nnThe lady told us all about these sounds and got our children hyped up to then tell them. “We only have the happy birthday sound” since it was neither of their birthdays there really was no need for this.nnWe go over to the “scent bar” only for her to pull out her multiple amount of scents but it was literally only the bubblegum scent. So at this point our daughters aren’t exactly getting a selection but that’s okay. We make our way over to the stuffing machine and the lady just silently stuffs the bear as our children watch silently.. she then goes and tops up the stuffing mid way through.. at this point my husband and I are trying to hype up the “coolest experience ever” the lady comes back and finally finds some spirit to do a cute little dance to fill the girls teddys with love. (This was the only good part) she then ditched us and went to the back when she clearly knew we had no idea what the process was.nnWe kind of figured out the process on our own at this point and dressed the girls teddys with them however we literally got ditched for like 40 mins while the shop basically exploded in people. Suddenly there’s like 30 more people inside the shop. The lady finally comes over to take our money and leaves without getting a receipt. She directs us to go get our “birth certificate” which we had no clue about only to wait another 20 mins as the printer needed more paper.nnI got so over it at this point that I personally found the paper and when the lady seen me she literally had the audacity to tell me to wait? Like if waiting a hour wasn’t enough?nnWould of being easier if I went to Kmart and disemboweled a stuffed toy and made our daughters stich it back up instead.nnHorrible experience
