Was sent to Physio by Orthopeadic Surgeon for a unloading knee brace to help relieve pain in my knee instead of a HTO operation. Tiffany was instantly against the HTO and said that strengthening the knee is the best option. She then went on to tell me that I needed to strap the knee to stop gaping in the medial compartment of the knee. The advice of my Surgeon is to gap that side of the knee and load the lateral compartment hence the unloading knee brace or HTO. Tiffany would not listen to what I had to say. I was then charged $110 for a 20 min consultation that was pointless.
