Beacon Lighting

Went in today and got served by Josh, what a beautiful human. He was extremely pleasant and went out of his way to assist me, he knew what I was looking for (I had been advised by others that the part I wanted was not able to be obtained on its own). He checked for stock on hand, then ensured I was able to leave, with product in hand. Thank you so much for going the extra mile and your help today Josh, you truly made my day :)

Got.some great service here last week. Spent over an hour with me making sure my light choices were suitable and would do the things we thought they would. Appreciate the patience.

Capalaba team were ready to help so cannot fault this. However I was looking for a light/fan solution for my kitchen and showed the team member one that was on display with a 'bright white light' that I was interested in. Unfortunately this item was out of stock. The team member and myself discussed my need for a big bright light with a specific size fan for the kitchen. The team member advised on a different option (light option was not on display) and advised that the Mariner would be more suitable in a kitchen as it was easier to clean. She advied that the light was a large light so I ended up purchasing the unit. Unfortunately after installation, I noted that the light was a warm colour and asked the electrician if he could change the light to a bright white. It was only at this point that I found out that I would have to contact Beacon Lighting and request to purchase a replacement 'light unit' (driver replacement) in bright white. On contacting Beacon Lighting, they advised that the Mariner light only comes in a warm colour. This is extremely disappointing and I would have thought that the sales person would have at least pointed this fact out to me at the time of purchase. I am now stuck with a light that is unsuitable for a kitchen. On the positive note, the fan is great and meets expectation. I suppose I will have to incur additional cost to sort out extra lighting in my kitchen!.
