Sportsmed NQ provides facilities including group physio sessions as well as physiotherapy for injuries and rehabilitation. The staff here are super friendly who remember who their clients are, so whenever you come in, you are greeted in a warm and friendly manner.nnTreatment here is great, providing not only treatment, but also working with you to help strengthen your body to help prevent injuries in future. The physio works with you through your treatment journey, providing treatment, advice and also exercises to help when away from the clinic.nnClients also have the option to participate in group physio sessions. You are initially given a one on one session to go through the exercises covered before joining the group class. It is recommended that you bring your own towel though. Social distancing is adhered to and all equipment is sprayed/disinfected in between visits, with hand sanitizer available upon entry.nnI have visited this place regularly, parking is very easy and there is rarely any waiting in line when checking in. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable, working with you to help recover whilst also keeping in mind your history. I often visit Darren for physio as his treatments and exercise programs have worked really well for me for treating any aches and pains I have, plus I also get dry needling done which has excellent results for sore or tight muscles.nnTangiora runs the group physio sessions and boasts a very bright and vibrant personality. She is often seen interacting with the clients here in such a positive manner that helps to create a welcoming atmosphere in classes whilst also keeping in mind each person's limitations for different exercises. She is very mindful of everyone which is great to see.nnThere is wheelchair accessible parking near the front and staff are helpful to open the door and assist when needed. The flooring is level which makes moving a wheelchair through easier and providing ease of access for those with mobility devices.nnIf you are wanting a physio to visit that recognises you as a person rather than just another client number, Sportsmed is a place I recommend.
